Questions people ask

Is Broadsign for static billboards?

Broadsign is best known for digital: content management, ad serving and programmatic. It bought Ayuda, a static OOH specialist, in 2019, and launched a static campaigns module in 2023. Gabie handles static and digital faces the same way.

Does Gabie replace Broadsign?

No. Gabie doesn’t schedule content, serve ads, report proof of play or connect to DSPs. It finds advertisers and runs the direct-sale pipeline. Operators on Broadsign can use both.

What did Broadsign get from buying Place Exchange?

It got Place Exchange’s SSP and programmatic tools. Broadsign announced the deal on November 25, 2025. It now says it connects nearly 2 million screens and more than 55 DSPs.

Is Broadsign a good fit for an independent billboard company?

If you run a digital network and want programmatic revenue, it can be. But maybe most of your faces are static, and your money comes from local direct sales. Then you need a tool that finds and sells to local advertisers. That’s Gabie.

Does Broadsign have AI?

Yes. In May 2026, Broadsign’s sell-side AI agent finished what it called the first fully agentic OOH campaign. A buy-side agent booked the inventory. Gabie’s AI works the other way. Scout goes out and finds advertisers.
