Use case
Turn a cancellation into a sales list the same day.
When a booking is canceled, Gabie frees the face right away. It shows the open dates and what they’re worth, and lets Scout pitch them.
Before Gabie
- A cancellation is an email to one person, who may or may not tell sales.
- The face still reads as booked in the sheet for days.
- No one remembers who asked about that board last quarter.
- The dates go dark while the team debates a discount.
With Gabie
- Canceling a booking frees the face in the same step. Gabie records who canceled it and when.
- The face shows its open weeks or slots, with an estimated value.
- The face’s history and the CRM show who has bought or asked about it before.
- Scout pitches the open dates to nearby businesses that fit the board.
How it runs
- 1
Cancel with a record
Cancel the booking in Gabie, and the face is freed.
- 2
See the gap
The face shows the exact open dates and their estimated value.
- 3
Call the warm list first
The rep checks past buyers and open deals in the CRM before going cold.
- 4
Hand the rest to Scout
Scout builds a prospect list for the face and drafts outreach for the rep to approve.
Questions we hear
What is backfill in outdoor advertising?
Backfill means selling open time on a face. It happens when a planned booking falls through or ends without a renewal. The shorter the notice, the more it matters who you can call today.
Who can cancel a booking?
Only people whose role allows it. Each cancellation is saved on the booking, with who made it and when.
Should backfill be discounted?
That’s your call. Proposals start from the card rate. Any quote far off card is flagged and recorded. So a backfill discount is a choice, not a habit.
