Use case
Rate cards that move with occupancy, not with last year.
Gabie shows each face’s rate next to its occupancy and traffic. It suggests a new rate when the facts back one up. And it records every discount off card.
Before Gabie
- The rate card was set once and adjusted whenever someone remembered.
- Each rep quotes a slightly different number for the same face.
- Discounts are agreed out loud and never reach finance.
- Faces that are always full are priced the same as faces that sit empty.
With Gabie
- Each face carries its card rate in the same record reps quote from.
- The yield board lists every face with its rate, occupancy and best open gap.
- Each suggested rate cites the face’s occupancy, traffic and asking rate. You apply it or undo it.
- Proposals save the card rate. Quotes more than 50% above or below it are flagged for the rep’s sign-off.
How it runs
- 1
Load the card
Import each face’s monthly rate with your inventory, or set it on the face record.
- 2
Review the yield board
Sort faces by occupancy, rate and open gaps.
- 3
Reprice with facts
Run the yield call on a face and read the reasons.
- 4
Quote with guardrails
Reps quote from the current card, and big swings need a sign-off.
Questions we hear
How do you price a billboard?
Most operators set a monthly rate for each face. They look at traffic, how easy the face is to see, its size and its lighting. They also check what similar faces in the market get. Then they adjust for demand. A face that’s always full is a sign to raise the rate. One that’s always empty may need a price change. More often, it needs more outreach.
What is a billboard rate card?
A rate card is the published price list for your boards. It’s usually a monthly rate per face. It’s the starting point for every quote. That’s why a stale card costs money both ways.
Does Gabie change prices automatically?
No. Gabie suggests, and a person applies. You can undo any reprice.
Where does the traffic data come from?
From the traffic numbers on each face record. For example, DOT daily traffic counts you add or import.
Every empty face is money you already spent.
