LED

LED stands for light-emitting diode, the tiny lights that make the picture on a digital billboard.

A digital billboard face is a grid of LED modules. Each pixel mixes red, green and blue light to make any color.

LED faces make their own light, so they show well at night without lamps. Many states and cities limit how bright they can be after dark.

Pixel pitch is the space between pixels. A smaller pitch gives a sharper picture up close.

Every empty face is money you already spent.
