Static billboard

A static billboard shows one printed ad, usually vinyl, for the whole flight instead of rotating ads.

OAAA calls these printed OOH displays. The ad is a large print, usually vinyl, pulled tight across the face.

Most U.S. billboards are static. At the end of 2025, Lamar ran about 159,300 billboard displays, and about 5,500 of them were digital.

One advertiser has the face for the whole flight. A new ad means a new print and install. So static flights often run four weeks or more.

Every empty face is money you already spent.
